Após certo tempo de pesquisa, um redator do site francês GamesCharts.fr publicou hoje em um tópico os mais recentes números oficiais de vendas para lojas de diversos jogos da Nintendo. Dentre as informações por ele compiladas estão as somas totais da maior parte dos jogos das séries Super Mario, Mario Kart e The Legend of Zelda.

No gráfico acima, é possível ver as vendas dos seguintes jogos, respectivamente: Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES), Super Mario Land (Game Boy), Super Mario World (Super NES), Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (Game Boy), Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64), Super Mario Sunshine (Nintendo GameCube), New Super Mario Bros. (Nintendo DS), Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) e Super Mario 3D Land (Nintendo 3DS).
No mais recente trimestre fiscal (iniciado em 1º de janeiro e finalizado em 31 de março), foram vendidas 810 mil cópias de Super Mario 3D Land, 790 mil de New Super Mario Bros. Wii, 340 mil de New Super Mario Bros. e 280 mil de Super Mario Galaxy. Ao que parece, a inclusão deste último na linha de jogos mais baratos Nintendo Selects acelerou suas vendas no último ano.

Com a aceleração nas vendas da versão de Wii de Twilight Princess dada pela sua inclusão na linha Nintendo Selects, é possível que o jogo ultrapasse no futuro próximo as vendas totais de Ocarina of Time (desconsiderados os números de seu recente remake) para tornar-se o mais vendido da série.
