343 Industries has released some interesting new information about Halo Infinite, particularly about a new enemy that Master Chief will encounter in Zeta Halo. Despite Sangheili, Jega ‘Rdomnai fights as part of the Banished (Banished) and fights with an energy sword. What is interesting, however, is that his own past is "shrouded in rumors and half-truths."
“Some say it was an experience, an affront to its own kind. Others mention a clandestine ambush that went wrong. Very few know the truth, even less speak of it. One thing is certain: he has hunted demons before, and as the first recruit welcomed by Atriox, he will do it again. ” As one of several new characters in Halo Infinite, Jega has the potential to be a recurring threat to Master Chief.
Some conceptual arts of the Generation 3 Mark VII armor were also presented. While incorporating the design of Halo 1, this new version boasts "advances in neural interfaces, shield emitters, fusion power and armor formulation". There's also that sophisticated hook or GrappleShot that helps Chief zoom in in places. The armor was created by Dr. Halsey, with whom many Halo fans are familiar, and it should be interesting to see the role it plays.
