Putting the PS1 & Saturn versions of the original Rayman side by side.
Both games look identical, there are a few minor differences such as some of the level backgrounds being swapped over & the Saturns more? animated title screen. The Saturn version also has some nifty 2D & 3D transition effects at the end of every level. One of these can be seen at 5:24
It's close but I think the Saturn version wins by a nose
