Já são conhecidos os nomeados para o The Game Awards 2019.

Geoff Keighley revelou as listas com os diversos nomeados nas categorias, através das quais as grandes produções na indústria dos jogos serão premiadas e distinguidas no evento em 12 de Dezembro.

Este é o evento de final do ano onde poderá assistir a diversos anúncios e são esperadas muitas surpresas, mas também é um evento que suscita interesse pela entrega dos prêmios.

O prêmio de Jogo do Ano será revelado nesta noite e existem diversos lançamentos de alto perfil que serão distinguidos com nomeações, mas apenas um vencerá na sua respectiva categoria.

Na categoria de Jogo do Ano, uma das que mais interesse gera, encontra um claro domínio Japonês e Death Stranding de Hideo Kojima figura ao lado de nomeados como Resident Evil 2 e Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, da Capcom e Nintendo, respectivamente.
