Cyberpunk 2077 was shown again yesterday during the GeForce RTX 3000 reveal event. Fans were able to check out an impressive new trailer that featured the Ray Tracing effects chosen by the developers (diffuse lighting, reflections, shadows and ambient occlusion).
Jakub Knapik, Art Director of Lighting and FX at CD Projekt Red, stated:
However, when NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced the set of RTX IO technologies, he used a slide mentioning the game size problems that now reach 200 GB, and the slide featured a screenshot of Cyberpunk 2077.
This may have led some to believe that this would actually be the HD space needed to install the game. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red community coordinator Marcin Momot was quick to dismiss this speculation earlier this morning with a brief tweet, where he also announced that the PC system requirements for the game will be available soon.

Chances are that the long-awaited first-person open world RPG game will occupy at least 100 GB. Anyway, we should know the official number soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled for release on November 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
