SNK has suggested that it will have news from The King of Fighters XV soon.
During the recent special broadcast dedicated to the various companies working in fighting games, the "Japanese Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable", Yasuyuki Oda and Nobuyuki Kuroki from SNK were present and spoke about some news.
Oda and Kuroki were present to discuss plans for the latest Samurai Shodown, which will have a Season Pass 3, a game in which they play the role of producer and director, respectively. However, they are also known for their work on The King of Fighters XIV.
Oda and Kuroki worked as a director and art director, respectively, on The King of Fighters XIV and are now working on The King of Fighters XV, a game that is eagerly awaited by fans of fighting games.
Although they didn't comment on The King of Fighters XV, Oda and Kuroki were asked for news about a special game that was confirmed to be in development and shared that it will have news soon.
This special game is The King of Fighters XV and the news coming soon could mean a special event in August, perhaps a State of Play, or perhaps the Tokyo Game Show in September.
