Capcom recently confirmed that since its release in April through June 30, the remake of Resident Evil 3 has sold 2.7 million copies worldwide. Capcom recently said that "solid sales" of Resident Evil 3 generated profits for the company in the previous financial quarter.

Resident Evil 3 Remake was released on April 3, 2020.
