Capcom presented its latest financial report and reveals that during April and June 2020, it achieved a new record in terms of sales and profit.

The latest game in its acclaimed series, a new version of the classic originally released on PS1, enjoyed what Capcom considers to be solid sales and more than 2.7 million units have been sold worldwide.
Sales of Resident Evil 3, which hit stores in April 2020, along with sales of other games in the series, such as Resident Evil 2 remake, helped sales of the Resident Evil series to exceed 103 million units.
Compared to the latest releases in the series, this is the worst performance in years.
