MLB Deputy Commissioner Tony Petitti becomes President of Activision Blizzard

Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, announced this afternoon on the 10th of August a change in the company.

Tonny Petitti, who was in MLB serving as COO and Deputy Commissioner, is now Activision Blizzard's newest 'President of Esports & Entertainment', looking after everything in this business.

In this case, he will supervise, manage and command these companies and branches of ATVI from now on:

1. Activision Blizzard Studios (Film Company)
2. High Moon Studios (Video Game Company)
3. Beenox (Video Game Company)
4. Call of Duty e-Sports League (Championship)
5. Hearthstone e-Sports League (Championship)
6. Overwatch e-Sports League (Championship)
7. StarCraft e-Sports League (Championship)

The large part of the public facing this announcement was in a negative way, mainly because Activision Blizzard is putting another great executive who does not understand anything in the video game industry as President of Entertainment and Sports of the company.

We will see how this story will unfold over the years in Petitti's management, but at least the first impression left to the public is one of great negativity.
