A new trailer for the remake of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni promises an experience as terrifying as the original and seems to bring the tense atmosphere known from the series.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a visual novel of mystery and murder and has received several anime adaptations since its release. The story takes place in the fictional village of Hinamizawa. Keiichi Maebara, the main character, recently moved to the village and begins to discover the city's dark secrets.
Something that can cause strangeness is that the series takes place in arcs, containing several stories, which take place in the same world, and at the end of an arc the story begins at the beginning without influencing the other arcs.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Remake will be released in October.
