The issue of crunch (that is, periods of extra work and stress that developers must endure when developing a game) is now well known in the game industry, in fact, in recent years, more and more employees have reported this practice.
Among them, stands out the former producer of Lionhead Studios, Shaun Rutland, who during a recent interview told about his experience in the studio:
"I joined Lionhead during a difficult period, spent a few years in these conditions, so I experienced what I'm talking about first hand. I was very disappointed, not to mention the whole issue of employee health, put to the test because of all these hours of work. I also experienced that people become unproductive after 14 consecutive hours of work ".
A new Fable was recently announced in development at Playground Games, at the moment, we don't know if it's a re-release of the first historical chapter or a new episode.
The new Fable will be available for PC and Xbox Series X.
