Bonnie Ross, Chief of 343 Industries, apologizes for the postponement of Halo Infinite

Elected as the 22nd best personality and director of the gaming industry by the Hall of Fame in 2018 with Halo 1 and 2, Founder, Studio Head and Vice President of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, came to speak publicly about the postponement of Halo Infinite.

Bonnie says:

"I know we disappointed a lot of fans this year, and together with our studios, we apologize."

"Thank you for your support and understanding today."

The original message, shared by 343i director Chris Lee, on Twitter and on the official Halo Waypoint website, explained that the team needed "adequate time to offer a Halo gaming experience that met our vision":

"The decision to change our release is the result of several factors that contributed to the development challenges, including the continuing impacts related to COVID that have affected us throughout this year."

"I want to acknowledge the hard work of our team at 343 Industries, who remained committed to making a big game and finding solutions to development challenges."

"However, it is not sustainable for the well-being of our team or for the overall success of the game to send it out this year."

Halo Infinite has been developed by 1800 employees, comprising a network of 4 studios, which are 343 Industries (Campaign), SkyBox Labs (Campaign and Multiplayer), Certain Affinity (Multiplayer) and SperaSoft (Multiplayer).
