Elected as the 22nd best personality and director of the gaming industry by the Hall of Fame in 2018 with Halo 1 and 2, Founder, Studio Head and Vice President of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, came to speak publicly about the postponement of Halo Infinite.
Bonnie says:
"Thank you for your support and understanding today."
The original message, shared by 343i director Chris Lee, on Twitter and on the official Halo Waypoint website, explained that the team needed "adequate time to offer a Halo gaming experience that met our vision":
"I want to acknowledge the hard work of our team at 343 Industries, who remained committed to making a big game and finding solutions to development challenges."
"However, it is not sustainable for the well-being of our team or for the overall success of the game to send it out this year."

Halo Infinite has been developed by 1800 employees, comprising a network of 4 studios, which are 343 Industries (Campaign), SkyBox Labs (Campaign and Multiplayer), Certain Affinity (Multiplayer) and SperaSoft (Multiplayer).
At this point the game is only with the provisional date of "2021", and with that, it led Microsoft to focus its game launch marketing for the Xbox Series X being the decoys The Medium, Scorn, Crossfire X and Tetris Effect: Connected, with the company promising more than 100 console-optimized games at launch.
Halo Infinite will be released in 2021, exclusively on Xbox Series X, Xbox One and Windows 10.
